Senior journalists Shri Vinod Bhardwaj, Ashok Chaturvedi, Jaideo Sharma and myself (Kalyan Singh Kothari) visited the Jajam Foundation, Jaipur, to know how this organisation’s efforts for traditional, indigenous arts and music to sustain them in global technological changes: the organisation leader, Shri Vinod Joshi a social anthropologist told us about various activities, showed us rare folk instruments, and explained the famous Momasar festival.
We also discussed Jaipur’s Virasat and heritage, which was interesting.
Lok Samvad Sansthan (LSS), registered in 2001 under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958, is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working mainly in the field of media advocacy for a variety of subjects affecting the public life in Rajasthan and the country at large.
