
Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ministry of Culture, GOI in Delhi assured full support to organise the Magic Millets festival in Jaipur from September 25 to 27, 2023. Dr Kunal Kothari, Senior Physician from Gurgaon, Dr Lata Suresh, Head Institutional Partnership and Corporate Communications and Head -of Knowledge Resource Centre of Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GOI and Kalyan Singh Kothari -Secretary General -Magic Millet festival are in the picture.

Dr. Rashmi Sharma, Scientist-F and Head Science and Heritage Research Initiative(SHRI) Cell, Department of Science and Technology, GOI said that India, the world’s largest producer of millets, has great potential to become an epicentre of the millet-based meal, egg and dairy smart protein products and our initiative to support research and outreach activities on millets will be shown during Magic Millet festival in Jaipur. The Magic Millets festival team met her in the Delhi office.

Shi Arjun Ram Meghwal, IAS (Retd.), Hon’ble Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, GOI released the poster of the magic millet festival on the health benefits of millets specially designed for distribution in rural areas for awareness of nutritious millets and expressed full support and also accepted the invitation to be part of this festival in Jaipur during September 25 to 27, 2023.

Maj Gen (Dr.) GD BAKSHI, SM, VSM Retd. and Editor -Indian Military Review assured to spread awareness about “Millet ka Magic-Tiny but Mighty Millet’s powerhouse of Nutrients for promoting Food and Nutrition Security, Health and climate resilient food crops amongst army personnel.
