Save the Children –an international organization has roped in Rajkumari Diya Kumari, MLA from Sawai Madhopur as brand ambassador for the SPEAK UP campaign “against gender based violence” to support spreading awareness through various channels in the State of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan’s brand ambassador for ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’  (Save the Girl Child – Educate the Girl Child) , Diya Kumari today made an emotional appeal for collective efforts by Government, political parties, NGOs and public at large to fight against gender based violence like sex selective abortions/female foeticide, early and forced marriage, marriage related physical/sexual abuse, dowry deaths, domestic violence and on girl child exclusion, which are greatly effecting the status of women in our society.

Save the Children has very proud association with celebrities like Diya Mirza ,Shabana Aazmi, Sawroop Sampat, Kunal Kapoor, Ricky Khej, UN Peace ambassador and Grammy winner composer, music director, to support our programmes & endorse the causes of children in India.

Save the children in partnership with media base advocacy organization Lok Samvad sansthan and Center for Mass Communication, University of Rajasthan are jointly organizing “Political Conclave” as part of the launching the state level campaign on April 22,2017. The state level campaign against Gender based Violence in Rajasthan would be launched to raise awareness and amplify efforts and voice for exemplary solution ensuring access to justice for women and girls.

Smt Anita Bhadel,Minister of Women and Child, Government of Rajasthan would launch the campaign during the political conclave,which would be participated by Rajkumari Diya singh, Jodhpur member of Parliament Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jaipur member of Parliament Shri Ram Charan Bohra, Shri Kailash Verma Parliamentary Secretary (State level Minister) Shri Abdul Sagir, Chairman of Waqf Board (state Minister), and members of Rajasthan State assembly and various elected representatives will participate in this launching event.
