
Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot today launched specially designed digital apps of “Diabetes India-2019”under the Ninth World Congress of Diabetes for providing communication and content for the forthcoming four day conference in Jaipur from February 28 ro March 3,2019.
Dr Sudhir Bhandari,Organising Chairman and Principal SMS Medical College,Jaipur,Dr Arvind Gupta-Programme Chairman and Kalyan Singh Kothari- Media Consultant ,are with the Chief Minister on this occasion.
“Diabetes India 2019” will offer a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary scientific exchange, dialogue and debate through about 1,500 eminent international and national experts, who will be sharing their experiences and expertise in the field of diabetes. This conference will be a conglomeration of national and international experts from USA, UAE, Kuwait, Maldives, Dominican Republic, The Netherland, Belgium, Indonesia, Israel, Portugal, Morocco, Hungary, China, Finland, Germany, Serbia, UK, Korea, Croatia, Austria, Macedonia, etc. Their deliberations will impart the latest information not only on molecular science but also on the recent advances in diabetes
According to official estimates about 72.9 million people are with diabetes in India. About half of them are undiagnosed and many die early because of diabetes-related complications. The experts attending the conference will suggest measures for extending treatment to all the patients in order to give them a long and healthy life.
